Phono signal is about 100 times quieter than normal line level. It needs a phono preamp or a receiver input labeled PHONO.
Going from Phono (turntable) to something else
- RCA stereo audio: Phono preamp (needs power). Connect the turntable’s thin ground wire to the preamp’s GND screw to stop hum.
